I Really Like

Three year olds in footy PJ's. I sure think they are so cute, especially when they have long blonde hair that's sorta curly. It sure isn't all that cute when it comes and gets in my bed. Last night there were 4 of us in bed, plus a cat. DDL made his escape and slept on the sofa. I wasn't as smart and was kicked around for a few hours in about 3 inches of space.

Not tonight. I'm going to bed early, so at least there will be a few hours of solo bed time. If a kid comes to get in my bed, I'm going to say NO. That's a lie. The kid will probably get in bed with me, but if it starts kicking.... I'm leaving. It will probably chase me down and I'll end up with it on the couch on top of me. I'll be having dreams that I'm stuffed in a coffin (seriously, it has happened before).

The new car has a cozy place in the garage. I'm going to be wiping around on it a lot, making sure the tires are shiny and the inside is clean. I doubt I pick rocks out of the tread, I just don't have that kind of time, but I love it so much that if I did have that kind of time I might pick rocks out of the tread. It smells soooooo good. I love the MP3 player.

Work is starting to pick back up. By 3pm today I was hurtin' for my nap. I'm going to have to get some of that 5 hour energy crap or some red bull or some shit. Maybe I should ask BLM's teacher what kind of crack they give to her because she always seems so full of life after school.

Yes, it is 8-something. It's cold (and I have decided that if there is a hell, then hell is cold) and it's going to be colder tomorrow. Beans and cornbread are for dinner, we have a fireplace, and hopefully not much going on.

I had a 4 year old in footie PJs (no curls) appear in my bed a 3 am and I escaped to her room. When I returned to take my shower, I saw that P had gotten in our bed too. Whew- I am glad I escaped that!

I love little ones in footie PJ's, I would buy them for the 8 yr old if he would let me. It's cold here too, so cold I am beginning to wonder when I moved up north. They are calling for snow between Thursday and Sunday, this is NOLA, it's not supposed to snow in NOLA.

My four year old came in last night and asked if she could sleep with us... I said no and took her back to bed. Now saying that, it was 4:00 am and my alarm was going off in about 45 min. I did not, under any circumstances, and the little one up that early!

I love your posts, and am very glad you are back to blogging! Hope you are feeling better...
