Newborn Babydoll Mauled by Black Lab Puppy

IN MY OWN BACKYARD!!!!

Little little left her babydoll (Cookie) in the back yard last night (what kind of a mother does that???) Beverly the Beast chewed her whole hand off. I didn't notice it this morning when I found Cookie face down on the hard patio.

I picked her up in her new premie outfit that I just bought her. I put her inside on the couch to dry off a little.

Little Little came home and found Cookie had been gnawed on. She told Bebs that she was a bad dog. Then she laughed about it. I later found Bebs gnawing a little bit more on the plastic nub that was previously Cookie's hand. We'll have to find a new babydoll. It's too traumatizing to look at Cookie without a hand.

I have been engrossed with New Moon. I finished it today and then thanked the Dear Lord Baby Jesus that I had been insightful enough to pick up Eclipse before I finished reading New Moon. I love Edward. I would like to be a Cullen too. I don't understand why we need Jacob in this mixture. Let's just bite Bella and get on with it!

This is a Confession:

I have been watching Toddler's and Tiara's. It makes me want to put a girl or two in a pageant.

I don't want to do the full on glitz stuff where there is spray tans, extensions, eyelashes, make up that looks like a 22 year old, French Mani-Pedi. I wouldn't do that.

But, I found one that is a natural pageant that takes off points for the above stated. It isn't too pricey and I think the girls might enjoy it one time. They don't discourage glitz dresses, but they prefer a more "little girl" look.

I'm totally NOT the pageant/stage mom type. I listen to Tupac and Audioslave. I like beer and cursing makes me laugh.

Is this crazy? I'm crazy. But it would give me something to look forward to in March and get me through the dreaded Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb months. I have to have something to look forward to.

These are winners to me.

Dish Network

We are new subscribers to Dish. It was installed yesterday. DDL has not turned the TV from the NFL network since. I think he is monitoring it full time in case it should go out or experience any interruptions in service.

I haven't figured it out yet. All I need is A&E, TLC, and Lifetime (for Karen & Jack reruns AKA Will & Grace).

I have not figured out the DVR. I have to DVR Intervention and Toddlers & Tiara's. Some small people would like for me to DVR other things like Yo Gabba. I'm willing to do so, but I don't know what channel it comes on. I have to get DDL to get his ass off the NFL network to help me. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? Say goodbye to the Husband for the next, oh, football season.

I'll have some cutie pie pictures tomorrow of our Saturday photo shoot and the church picnic!

BLM's 7th Birthdaze

When you come from a land that glorifies the child, you don't just have a birthDAY... you have birthDAYS. We've talked about it before, why should it be any different with my girlfriends?

It broke down like this:

Cupcakes at summer program.
Surprise Party at home with family.
Swim Party with Friends
Cupcakes on the first day of school.

I can't get over how big she is. She has had a GREAT first two days of school.

LLM also has had a great time. Even Bebs had some fun eating my wood blinds in my living room. /STAB /STAB /STAB

What Is That On TV?

Football? Already? Wait a minute. Why is FOOTBALL on TV. I have 3 more days to deny that school is starting and 3 more days to pretend that summer isn't going anywhere and fall isn't on its way. After fall is the "w" word, which entails the "T" word followed by the "C" word. Then there is the dreaded months of "J" and "F". I can't do it, I really don't think I can.

Please put me on a cruise ship or an airplane and send me somewhere that I can still sun. It's almost like the summer didn't happen here. I had one headache that has lasted from May-August and I'm just now started to feel better and now school starts Monday?

Thank GOD there is college football to get me through until January. But Sunday's suck in the winter. Up my meds or send me to the tropics.

I have put together a little photo and video montage to help me make it through those blah's. I share with you:

Perhaps it will stay summer-ish (and HOT, like in the 100's like August in Oklahoma is supposed to be) until October!

Alice in Wholesomeland

Here is the costume I have selected for Mickey & Minnie's Not so Scary Halloween Party. Isn't she a little more Disney than Diva? I think so. I love it much more. I won't be prancing around The Magic Kingdom in the high heeled black Mary Janes. I do have some very cute, black, and comfortable shoes to go with this ensemble.

The girls have not heard us talk about the trip and I have not mailed there letter. Cuz I lost it. I was working on the sparkly envelope one night (painted it with pink glitter glue) and now I can't find any of it. I hid it from myself. I am very good at hiding things.

So what I have done is packed a suitcase under my bed (it has a lock) and I have put all of my WDW treasures in there. I hope to have time this week to drop off some shirts to be embroidered with the LM's names in the Disney font. In case I forget where those are, I can look here and see that they are in the suitcase under my bed. Good job me!

The code word for talk of the trip is Great Wolf Lodge. Otherwise we'd never get to talk about it when little ears are around.

All of this secret vacation stuff is something I have wanted someone to do for me my whole life. Just pack me up without me knowing it and tell me where going somewhere and take me to the airport! I wanted to do this with our first trip to Disney in 07, but I was way too excited. Now that the BLM is older, she'll really remember this special treat.

The whole letter in the mail from the princesses idea came from an online friend, and my Mother in Law wrote the poem. I can't take the credit for that good stuff, but if anyone ever wants to use the idea for a special something- take it and run with it.

This is how I want life to be for my little ladies!

A Trip to the Post Office!

Didn't this turn out sweet? I decorated the envelope with pink glitter and I am having a calligraphy expert address it to Princess BLM and Princess LLM. It has been wrapped in pink tissue paper and carefully tucked into the Princess Envelope!

I will, of course, have a full report on their reaction and what they think this might be. I mentioned a Halloween Princess Party at our house, so they may think this has something to do with that.

I have changed my mind on the Alice in Slutland Costume. I have found a more appropriate version that I will share at a later time. It looks a lot less cheap. And by cheap I don't mean hooker. I mean it looks as if it is made better.

The dogs and I have already been on a walk this morning and it is time to get around and get funky!

oooh PS....
I found out that my online friend of 3 (maybe more) years is possibly planning a trip to WDW on the dates that we will be there! I might get to meet the Heather Family!!!!! I can't wait to meet the boys (including Mister Heather) and her babies! Please say YES Mister Heather!!!!!!!!!

Not So Scary Halloween Party

Check us out! The girls (Mimi, Mamalicious, LLM, BLM) are going to the Mickey and Minnie's Not So Scary Halloween Party on the day of their Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment at the Magic Kingdom.

They will be dressed up, get to trick or treat, watch a parade, and see very special fireworks. This planning is probably more fun for me than anything and if you get sick of me talking about it, I am so sorry. We're going to talk about it until October 9th!

I need a flavor from Shannon! I will email you tomorrow, sister!

Here is what has been ordered (even the slippers). They think that they are having a Princess Halloween Party. That's how I got them to tell me their favorite princess!

BLM: (Belle)

LLM: (Sleeping Beauty)

Mamalicious: (Alice) Dammit I want to dress up too. This isn't too revealing at all and I won't Wh0re it Out like I'm going to some Wh0re Party. I will wear white tights and black mary janes. I'm looking for a blonde wig. This was purchased on eBay for $15.00. I am awesome.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
