Serpent Seeker

When DDL got home tonight, Beverly had a small snake (dead) hanging out of her mouth. She's buck wild. She is currently attacking pillows and other small unsuspecting items. She is digging into couch cushions. I'm pretty sure there are cheetos, cheerios, and doritos that she is after.

I'm putting her into the dog crate to sleep tonight. Going to happen. No excuses tonight. NONE.

It's Fun to Eat at 4:30 PM

That's what time I got to eat lunch today. It was a rough one. I had to drive to another town to conduct a presentation, which I did have some technical difficulties with (not my fault, don't you blame me).

The drive was in the pouring rain both ways... can you say "RELAXING"?

Friday night brings for me 3 beers (as a start). I am also behaving as a man by doing the following:

  1. Letting Daddy feed girls
  2. Letting Daddy bathe girls
  3. Letting/helping Daddy get girls ready for bed.
  4. Sitting on the recliner while Daddy gets them snacks and complies with their demands.
  5. Sitting on the recliner (with my beer) while Daddy puts them to bed.
  6. Sitting on the recliner while Daddy deals with the dog.

Man, that shit is good. It should happen MORE OFTEN. I'm going to hurry up and drink beer 3 so that I can request that he promplty jump up and get me beer #4!

For those that asked, here is where we are staying on our vacation:

Grand Rivera Princess

We got a good deal with Fun Jet- Air/Hotel/All Inclusive under our budget of $2500.

Beverly ate my ipod headset. I'm a little angry about that, but I'll just buy another one tomorrow. Can't do without the headset.

Get Me Out of Oklahoma!

It is supposed to SNOW this weekend? GMAFB!

When I heard about it, I seriously contemplated putting all of us on a plane to Key West for the weekend.

Seriously. We're almost to April. I've hung on as long as I can. I am mentally fragile and can't stay inside of the house with wild children who are crazy because it is too wet and cold to play outside.

I NEED WARM WEATHER.

Esplain to Me

Give me strong Diagnosis.

What is the matter with a person when nothing is wrong yet they feel sad? Bills are paid, everyone is healthy, no one is fussing, everyone is doing their normal usual everything. Why do I take that time to get a depressive episode?

My limbs can't want to move from out of the bed. Just 2 weeks ago, I was feeling GREAT and getting up at 5am to spend time with the Gogs, quiet time of my own, and meditate and plan for the beginning of the day. What the French went wrong?? I was exercising and eating right and thinking about this spot:

This is the pool suite we booked for our 2nd Moneyhoon. Can you imagine being able to walk from your balcony and get right in the pool? Look, there is even a place for my beverly beside the couch. Wowzers. 3 monts 3 weeks and 6 days away. Tick tick tick. I can't wait to be away with my favorite and we will laugh so hard that our faces will fall off, and we will also cry for our babies.

I'm back on the diet, just waiting to get the energy back for the extrasize part. For me, those have ta go together or it is not happening. I weighed 140 yesterday. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Ma is 5'2 on the tallest of days. I'm getting rid of 5 at a time. Starting over again at each 5. To say I have 30 lbs to loose would be waaaaaay too much. I can hang with 5.

So- that was part of the funk and yes it is STOOPID to get in a funk over your looks. I realize this is shallow, I just felt like I owed the people who care about me an esplanation.

I'll be OK. I'm taking care of myself and I'm not, like, crying or anything like that... just the funk. Give me a few days of sunshine and I'll be A-OK!

A fresh hair color will help, too!

To Entertain You

Hopefully the funk will exit my body soon. There is nothing specific that has caused the funk, just a generalized icky blah feeling. We (me and my dual personalities) will discuss it with the doctor today.

In the meantime, please check out what I did this weekend to my nasty ass house:

De-Monkey-Dunged the kitchen:

Clean "Dining Room" AKA Parlor AKA Sitting Room AKA Red Room

Organized toys in playroom. Please do not tell, but I threw away 3 garbage bags of clutter.
That's Phoebe photo-bombing my picture in the bottom left corner.

An Organized Bookcase in BLM's Room.
Only one sample of the work that was done to this room.

Above is a clean Master Bedroom. There was a pile of clean clothing in the floor to the right of the dresser.

Carnival Easter

Oh Noes! I love shopping for Easter Dresses and Easter Bunneh crap for the girls. It gets wild around here, like it's Christmas or something! I don't even like Christmas, but I love Easter because the weather is warmer. Heck I just lied. It is usually cold.

Here are some considerations on eBay for one (of maybe many) Easter outfit choices. We won't wear these just at Easter, they can be worn to church anytime.

Made a bid on this one... $15.00. HELLO!?! And free monogramming! This would be for the LLM. Don't you think the initials LLM in blue would look great? ;o

This pink/brown makes me slobber. It could be made in both girlie sizes. I cannot express how much I love matching sisters. DMan does not enjoy the matchy matchy sister look but I **Heart** it so hard.

There is one more pink/brown bunneh toile that would not let me copy the picture. It has a brown/pink polka dot skirt that can be monogrammed with LLM and BLM.

If I have to buy 3 of these things- no big. They can be worn past Easter because they are not so fancy fance that they are just Easter.

Holla if you want to know the store!

The Run Down

And I mean RUN DOWN. I ran out of my thyroid medication on Thursday and didn't pick up my refill until today. I felt it big time. I messed up at work almost all day long. Luckily, I didn't have to drive anywhere because that could have been danger.

Had a great weekend with some special girls from the Chi O daze! We celebrated Shannon's Birthday at Sushi Neko in the Greater OKC Area.

Do you remember getting ready with your girlfriends, pre-drinking before the drinking? This is what we did (had a sober driver folks, don't you judge). I had to make sure that I won the Big Hair Contest. Who was entered in the Big Hair Contest? Just me.

I am wondering what my prize will be should I win my own self proclaimed Big Hair Contest. How will I accept my award? What will my speech consist of? I'm hoping a microphone and a spot light will be involved. This is why I INTRA-tain myself.

And here is the final product of the outfit and the big hair. That's me and Shannon!

Party of Eight!

Sassy Shrimp, I love you!

Me, Michelle, and Shannon- the Bloggers!

It was fun! We went to a happenin' bar right next to Sushi Neko. We got fine service there, the server came to our table one freakin' time. Talk about buzz kills. Ho!

Happy Birthday!

I have a Happy Birthday Friend today!
Happy Day, Katy!

Tomorrow, I am helping Shannon celebrate her birthday. I hope Katy joins us.

I will do my best to take as many stupid photographs as possible for your making fun of me pleasure.

Dear Beberly,

You are very cute.

BUT STOP PEEing and POOPing ON MY CARPET. WTF is wrong with this puppy????? My 9 year old lab was potty trained in ONE WEEK.

Again, I am saddened to learn that I am not a smart dog owner, I just got lucky with a very smart dog.

Exercise Tactic

Wear your size too small work out pants to work out in. I got up at 5, got dressed in the too small pants... got the dogs ready... it was raining, and I went out and walked anyway. Then I came home to the floor routine where the wet-dog smell surrounded me. I like it. I know, crazy.

For your consideration, since everyone is helping with finding bedding for LLM's room. Here is her room now (warning: messy).

This is the wall her crib was on:

This is her babe quilt, it is a must keep on the wall for me. I think I will paint the Ooh La La black. Is that a good idea? (Katy?)

The bed that is going buh-bye. See ya later, old bed that I've had for 15+ years. Please overlook the messy-made bed. LLM had been watching Barney and wallering all over it.

Shelves and crap. I'm open to minimizing some things. But I like it for the most part.

Yesterday my handy manny came over. He removed the 1975 wooden spindles from the living room "window" that goes from the living room into the hall. For some reason I don't have any photos of it before. Oh, yeah. I hated them. That's why they were not photographed!

This was done for Katy, since I ragged on her for her wooden spindles. Sorry, Katy!
I still have to sand and stain it. Only God knows when that will happen!

D-Man put this on the mantle for me. How do you like? Be honest. What else does it need?

And here is Sweet Beberly (that's how LLM says it). She is so sweet when she is tired.

Happy Thursday to you all! I'm going to drink a cup of hot Tension Tamer tea (it is great if you like hot tea) and get ready for werk.

Cardio and Floor Routine

Got up early this morning to the kisses of Beverly (who is in bed with me, so what why do you care?)

Took both goggies on a walk/jog around the hood. Beverly has got the leash walking down. However, she still poops and pee's in the house. Hailey was so easy to train. Daisy (the yellow gog) was not so easy, and I'm guessing Beverly is going to be a toughie too.

It got cold. WTF? I still went on my walk and did my floor routine, like this:

You have to be very careful when you do your floorwork in this house because Baby Beverly will bite your face off. She takes it as an opportunity to draw blood.

I have a busy busy day ahead of me. I'm mentoring at work, spring cleaning our website, and preparing a script for my instructional video that I will produce tomorrow.

That was boring. But I have lost 5lbs out of 15. So now let's just say I'm trying to lose 5lbs. Mental trick.

I am still on a furniture purchasing HIGH. It could be classified as an addiction, I would think. This is similar to LLM's bed that will be arriving. It had to be ordered.

The sitch is: her room is a soft yellow. Her bedding now is black and tan toile and her accents/decor is black and white with a little tan thrown in. I can't find the black and tan toile in the queen size, and I don't have a $300 budget for bedding. Gotta get cracking on what to do. I love the toile, and I could go with red, pink, green, or even purple. Getting rid of the black accents and decor is NBD. I have other places it can go. Except her baby quilt. I'd like to keep it hanging on the wall. I'll take some pics of her room tonight as it is now.

Your ideas (Katy, Shannon) can be put into comments or emailed to me.

Bloggy friends- I'm trying to do better at commenting. Please don't you stop loving me. My life has been turmoil at work.

Just What do I Wear? Or Not Wear?

Shannon is having a birthday extravaganza this month. There will be a pre-party with some college friends and some Sushi and whatever else happens after that.

I'm excited, but yet afraid that I will be terribly out-cuted by everyone (not OK, I need to fit in with the cuteness of the beautiful girls around me). Which I will be because I feel like a chubkins with my lbs to get rid of and only my phat jeans fit. Everyone else is all in shape and looking hott.

Here are some options, let me know what you think.

Choice #1- OU shirt and Magic Pants... perfect for a girl who is going to eat sushi and drank a beverly. Sports bra on the outside is just one option.

Choice #2- Totally casu in matching track pants, black t, and matching hoodie. So comfortable (again, for food and drink). This might be a little casu for the group that I am going with. They will be super good-looking in the best looking clothes and most put together outfits with purses that match. I'm not hatin'. I'm appreciatin'. I have a cute purse too.

Choice #3- A little more effort here- bewbie shirt, cute jeans and shoes. I'll need a jacket, and to borrow the shirt from my friend Amy. This looks like hard work to party in and I'm lazy. Like I would have to suck in all night and who wants to do that. I was about 10 pounds lighter and 10 shades tanner here. And drunk. Who knew?

Add Image
Choice #4: Cleanining the toilet gear. You can never be uncomfortable with cleaning the toilet gear. I feel really comfortable when I clean a toilet, I'm in my element. I love cleaning. It makes my soul happy in an insane way.

Choice #5- Gold sequin shrug, gold tank, dark jeans, black shoes. Pants will be too tight. Dreadful. And why am I drinking a beer right now? Oh, and this is my BFF Jen.

Or just go shopping? I will have time to stop at TJ Maxx before the extravaganza.

I hate picking out an outfit. Vote please.

Thnks.

Oh, guess what else? I got a beautiful BGB for Kennedi today.

And guess what else what else?

I got this:

I think he wants to marry me again!

Picture Me Rollin

This is my favorite time of the year! It feels great outside in the morning (and afternoon, and evening). Sadly, I changed my blackberry ringtone to something that did not tap into my brain cells and wake me up at 5. However, my little black beverly did wake me up at 5:30 with some sweet kisses to my ears.

I went for a jog around the hood and now I have that out of the way. I get confused sometimes. Like, when I've been doing great with eating and exercise, why have I not seen a budge on the scale? I'm trying to lose weight, people. Lake season is coming. I have a sweet date with my baby daddy for our 10th anniversary vacation. I don't want to look like I'm 3 months pregnant!

It's not for lack of trying. Hell, maybe it's my crazy meds. Funk it, I'm trying.

I had an extra girl last night, our 6 year old good neighbor girl. Her parents were going to be out of town until bedtime-ish. I told them to just let me keep her and I'd take her to school in the morning. BLM and GNG go to different schools, but GNG's school is across the street from LLM's daycare. So it is no extra trouble. I might have to crack the mean momma voice on them when I wake them up so they don't try to get into Saturday play mode.

GNG might be moving. Waaaaah! But, she is going to go to BLM's school next year and they will end up being in the same grade and I'll try to get them in the same class.

Is that boring? I'm sorry.

Werk is trippin' me out still and my brain is having a hard time with it.

Also- good news! We got the girls a queen size mattress and box springs. (I will be shopping for a cute headboard and maybe new bedding for the LLM's room. She has black and white toile, which is my favorite thing ever. I might try to switch it up although I haaaaaate the idea of not having the toile.)

Here is a fun picture and we won't think about anything else stressful today- only this picture, yes? Since this is the year of Mamalicious- I am wanting one of these in midnight blue. M'kay? Where is the magic genie? Where is my Chronic 2001 CD?

I Think What This Situation Needs is Some Imagination!

Me, the girls, the D-Man, Sashasays, and P went to Ft. Worth this weekend to see the Imagination Movers. Sasha and I have been friends since we were purt near this age.

The Children are were enchanted by the Embassy Suites in downtown Ft. Worth. So were we... Happy Hour, hello!

This is what 30-something years of friendship looks like. We just keep getting better looking, I think.

D-man took this photo of the Big Lil Momma. Look- that's a BOW in her hair!

Momma and the LLM:

The Daddylicious D-Man and his baby pretty.

P and Sasha hugged up. This really means, "MOM!!! When are you going to finish your beer so we can LEAVE???"

Well, P, we have this much longer....

(Do not fret, friends- the theatre was right across the street from the hotel and we had 2 non-drinking adults, m'kay?)

Our friend Michelle and her darling boy Luke met us at the theatre. Luke and LLM are about the same age, and they were transfixed by the sound system. There were times when we had to hold them and times where they were on their feet dancing.

So much fun! There are more pictures of swimming, kids sleeping, and Sasha and I having a few Texass Beverlies. There will be more later. It is now time for me to start my beautiful spring Monday!
