Football? Already? Wait a minute. Why is FOOTBALL on TV. I have 3 more days to deny that school is starting and 3 more days to pretend that summer isn't going anywhere and fall isn't on its way. After fall is the "w" word, which entails the "T" word followed by the "C" word. Then there is the dreaded months of "J" and "F". I can't do it, I really don't think I can.
Please put me on a cruise ship or an airplane and send me somewhere that I can still sun. It's almost like the summer didn't happen here. I had one headache that has lasted from May-August and I'm just now started to feel better and now school starts Monday?
Thank GOD there is college football to get me through until January. But Sunday's suck in the winter. Up my meds or send me to the tropics.

Perhaps it will stay summer-ish (and HOT, like in the 100's like August in Oklahoma is supposed to be) until October!

I am so glad I am not the only one who is dreading the Big W already. I love the fall (college football! yes!) but my WORD the winter is so depressing. Bleh. School started here this week, and I am definitely mourning. :(

I swear when I woke up yesterday and went outside...there was a touch of fall in the air.
It scared me. I have wasted my whole summer doing NOTHING. ack.
Now its already almost september, time to move, and then before you know it...its gonna freaking snow here or something.
Where does time go? I have to quit sleeping. STAT.
Well, now you've done it. If school starting wasn't depressing enough, you have reminded me that F and W are coming -- and J and F. I want a year with 12 months of June! I don't even mind our Oklahoma heat -- as long as the air conditioning works!
