Ice Day

It happened! Trapped in the house *almost* all day with sleet and ice. The school was closed, so that meant I was home with the LM's.

Want to guess how long they slept in? That'd be 7am. That's right. Seven.

Good news: LLM and I took a killer nap.
More good news: BLM and Good Neighbor Girl are having a sleep-over!
Great news: We have beer!
Sucky news: LLM was a cranky beast.
More sucky news: School is also out tomorrow.

Here are some photos from our WICKED WINTER WEATHER! Yes, roll your eyes people who live in states where there is real winter weather. Okies go into panic mode!

Well, at least you got something. They called for it here in southwest VA, closed schools, my DAYCARE, and all we ended up with was RAIN! I had to take off work for rain! Nice....
Hopefully you'll have enough beer to get you through today as well! Enjoy your cabin fever!

I am one of those people who live in the cold (Colorado). It was -6 as I drove my son to school yesterday and we have 6 inches of snow on the ground. I never even consider checking the news for a snow day because it almost never happens.

And, we're from Texas, so you can imagine the shock we endured when we first moved here!

I have to say that I am jealous. I would love to have a snow/ice day or two!!

Hope all of your ice and snow melts off soon. We got lucky yesterday. The morning white-out we had melted off by night time, thank god!

Your house looks super cute.

I absolutely love ranch style homes.

What doesn't look cute? The snow aka the main reason I moved South.

Well, I am in South Louisiana and it looks pretty cold to me where you are! Love, love, love the life vest and the sparkley wig!

Your girls are adorable. I want to smoosh their cheeks.
Hope your 'snow' goes away soon.

I'm so jealous! All we ever get is freakin' rain! And I feel your pain, days off always cause my crew to awake at the crack of dawn. School days, I think they could sleep till noon!

OMG! Save the OU flag! Love that yellow vest! I think I'll go get one for myself. The hair flair would not be flattering on me though.
