I am a Business Person. This means I do not have time for silly delays. This is a phrase that was coined by my grandmother (who we will call Herself). Herself was at the bank one day and the teller couldn't pull up her account or some other such silliness and she told the teller that she was a Business Person and she didn't have time for those kinds of delays!
She is/was one of A-Duh's first business women and has spent many years in Real Estate and knows more than anyone about the biz. She was the first person in our family to graduate from college, and I think she was in her 60's. She didn't even go past the 6th grade. Remarkable!
So- back to me. I'm a busy business person. I've been a road warrior all week long (3 out of 5 days). I've been bustin' my hump and I still can't get my work done. But I love it. I just hope that my boss looks at me with favor. I don't ever cause any trouble and I almost never need her to be a Chief Obstacle Remover (COR) for me. However, this week I did. It wasn't all my fault but some of the blame is on me (not much, just a little). I just want to make her look good and help our company.
Is that boring, do forgive.
I did get to meet with Sasha and Slim for lunch this week. Slim brought her slice o 8 month old baby and I got to feed him his nummy bottle and, wow, that made my day. Eight month olds are delish. I gobbled him up and it was such a treat.
The Sasha's and the Licious family are going to see The Imagination Movers in Ft. Worth in March. Mr. Sasha scored us box seats so the kids can rock out without restriction. I made the mistake of telling the LM's about it. It's gonna be a long time until March because they are going to be asking me every day.
