Is cooking again. AND I went to the grocery store and purchased raw meat to make meals with. OK, I did buy some frozen meat, too, as well as frozen veggies. I feel guilty that my husband is home at night now and I can't do any better than a frozen pizza.
DDL's parentals are coming for a visit. I have been cooking Tortilla Soup in the crock pot. I found a package of tortilla soup mix and added the appropriate amount of water as well as some (frozen) chicken fajita meat. It smells delish. We will also have salad to go along with that.
Other things that I won't bore you with that are on the menu for the: white chicken chili, pork chops, and a chili/cornbread casserole.

I sure wish I was taking a nap right about now. The girls took over my DVR in my bedroom so I have no place to hide. I can't hide on the recliner because if the grandparentals show up, my nap will be over.
Oh well. No naps for me this weekend I guess.

I used to be you...like 3 weeks ago...and I'm so into this cooking business now! I'm pretty sure I'm as good as Paula or Rachel.
My cooking goes in spurts. Sometimes I'll cook every day. Sometimes I'll go weeks without.

ummm...so basically? I give you a total hall pass. Frozen pizza rocks.

bravo to you! i got a crock pot from santa and have yet to break it out and use it :(. i guess i didn't realize that "slow cooker" was a literal name.
