That Was a Long One

The work day wasn't so bad. I should have stayed there.

The Momma's were so tired looking when I picked them up. The LL looked so tired in her eyes and she was very whiney. She griped at me for a snack the whole way to pick up BL.

Big Lil looked equally tired when I got her.

No one acted very nice tonight. Our Elf is resting tonight, and he wrote in his report that he was going to take a break tonight in hopes that the girls could catch up on their sleep. I'd like to post pictures of his mischief, but honestly I'm way too put out with the girls to even think about putting these online. I'm a Momma who needs a break!

Not only did we have multiple melt downs tonight, but the LL has bucked the concept of the BGB. She was hard to put to bed last night. She can throw a mean protest, let me tell you. There are fits, crying, asking for Mimi, wanting Sissy, wanting Daddy, etc. etc. etc. It is full blown drama. She woke me up at 3am. I put her back in the bed and made the mistake of laying there with her. I ended up falling asleep. This isn't happening. Hard Core Momma time. I'm busting out the tough love. Sissy is not sleeping in her bed and she is not getting back-patted or baby treated. This sounds mean, but I can't and won't have a squirming, kicking 2 year old in my bed. Nothing wrong with those who choose the family bed, it's just not for me.

Let's talk Koozies! I'm tired of Momma talk and it's making me tired. I'm having some beer and trying to put it behind me!

My girl Lacy had a rough week last week sick baby and she was sick herself. In order to perk her up, I mailed her the gift that keeps on giving- the Al's Wine and Spirit Koozie.

See how Lacy is enjoying it? Can you imagine yourself with this? (BTW, not to cause a skirmish, but why the Koozie/Coozie spelling? Is this a regional thing? Help me out here!)

DDL mentioned to the owner of AW&S that his Koozies were being given away on the enterwebz. He was flattered. Another one of DDL's friends said he had some Koozies for his business as well. Hopefully this will not be a One Time Thang. Clearly, the idea is a hit!

Maybe I will order some Mamalicious Koozies? It will be a world wide craze!!!

Yay! Koozies for everyone! It can be like that old Coca Cola campaign, we can all sing "I'd like to teach the world to sing..." and meet on a picturesque koozie!

Also, the elf MUST have some dabblings at this. www.elfyourself.com

I emailed you one I did of my daughter!

I'm pretty sure it's Koozie, but who knows.

Oh I've got a guy if you want koozies, he can't print them up with anything on them. He can even do the zippy up bottle koozies and those little t-shirt ones. Cool stuff. Koozies were the parting gift at his daughters wedding.

I'll hook you up :)

Oh, Girl... I had one of those today. All three of my kids decided to be on their WORST behavior today and I have had it. I told the big girl that her time home was limited and not to make her departure a pleasure. I told the middle boy that he needed to pack his skivvies and find a mommy that will let him eat candy all day and not brush his teeth if he didn't like my rules, and I told the baby girl that I was NOT happy with her and she told me "I not happy to you, Mommy"... I'm about to polish off a bottle of merlot. I feel ya, Mama, I do.
