Press Fast Forward

DL is home for 3 weeks! He is giving the Lil Momma's a bath right now. I have been lazy today. Well, unless you count getting my hair done and taking a nap.

The presentation on Monday went great! Mr. CEO said that our website exceeded his expectations and he was very impressed. Holla!!!!

Grumpy confession, feel free to skip this part if you love this time of year. I don't want to harsh your holiday spirit!

My least favorite time of year is coming. The Holidaze. Sorry. I just have to force myself to get in the spirit. I'll do it. I'll do it for my girls. I'll fake it. They won't know that Mother is a grinch on the inside. We will bake cookies and listen to Christmas music. We'll sit by the tree and drink hot chocolate. We will drive around and look at Christmas lights. They will never know that I am wishing that I could fast forward to memorial day. I hate the time change. I hate cold rain. I hate snow. I hate HATE hate it!

Here are some pictures from 2 Thanksgivings Ago:

Perhaps the sun will shine tomorrow. Or maybe I'll make some time to get in the tanning bed. I love my sunshine, and even if I have to get it artifically, I'll get it!

I love it when you act like such a gripey grinch.
I'm so very kidding, I really do like it though, it's funny and I know you know that I'm not being mean.
In all seriousness, Christmas stresses me out to the MAX! All I can seem to think about most of the December month is...planning L's b-day party, spending money, getting Christmas presents, spending money. Money $$$$
I like Sun as well. I honestly don't mind winter, but not winter w/ kids. They are crazy when indoors too much, it really sucks getting them out in the coldness.
Girrrrl, I hear ya. Brrr.
Sounds weird, but I do like the winter apparel.

Great job on your presentation! The girlies are too cute in those pictures. I know all too well the seasonal sadness. My Mom and siblings are far away and that makes me blue during these times. I fake it as well. I've got my Christmas jams playlist ready to go right after turkey day while I put up the decos. Yay.

I am anti-Thanksgiving too. But I'll be at the beach drinking beer and eating nachos in the sand...so that makes it a bit better, yes?

Oh, and my plan is to bake this sesaon, tooo...oh wait...I suck at baking...

Hugs!

I admit, each year I look FORWARD TO THE HOLIDAYS and yet when it is all done I feel LET DOWN. Not sure why.

UGH, so happy I am not the only one who is grouchy this time of year. Thanksgiving and Christmas make me so stressed. Now that I have DS, I have to fake it, but I secretly dread it and wish I could skip forward to next year. Blech. Times are tough and there is always "one last gift" so that is also adding to my stress. Just call me Grinchette too.

Come move to the south girl! We've got LOTS of sunshine and if you move to FL, we've also got Disney! ;)

I am not a fan of the holiday season either. AND, my fave holiday is the 4th of July. We are kindreds. :)

My 16 month old will just be getting to know Christmas this year. This is the last year I can go low-key. I'm cherishing it.

I love the holidays, especially since my birthday is 2 days before Christmas! However, once New Year's Day is over, I am completely done with the cold and the snow (unless I would actually get a freakin snow day for once, which never happens!) Winter is depressing...

Also, I made a new, non-private blog. I can't remember if I told you yet or not. If so, sorry for the link again.
