The Bitch AF can just bite my ass. Ever since I had the tubal, my periods are the DEVIL. I know last time I said I was going to call my doctor. But in true phone-phobe fashion... did I call her? No. I know she'll put me back on my BCP. I'm calling tomorrow. PROMISE.
I do not like today. I feel like I need to make a big purchase in order to make me happy. I hate it when I feel like that.
I think buying a new piece of furniture would make me feel really good. I would really like to get something for the girls. I saw a bunk bed with a full sized bed on the bottom and a twin on the top. They love to sleep in the same room. It came in about a dozen colors and it was darling.
Or maybe I should buy a new sofa/love seat.
Or maybe I should buy a puppy. But that would require a lot of work.
I think I'll just go to bed early instead.

I didn't realize that you still get a period once you have that procedure done! I'm pretty dense with that stuff! I hope you feel better soon. From one phone phobic girl to another, you really should call your doctor about it...
My periods went crazy nutso after my tubal. Hated it. Badly. Yeah I had to go back to lovely BCP, Yaz is actually pretty nice. Hope you get to feeling better!
Hi there Mamalicious! Sorry you are having a grouch day. I am a phone phobe too. In fact, I phobed myself out of calling the podiatrist. Ugh.
Just think though...if you had both Lil's in the same room, no one would ever get any sleep. I recommend spa day. Relaxing and expensive. Perfect.
My doc told me I would have a period after I got my IUD. WRONG, now I have gross messy spotting ALL THE TIME. Before I had very light, maybe 3 day periods, now I have spotting all the freaking time. I'm so over this.
Hey friend. I'm sorry today was yucky. Call the doctor. From one phone phobe to another . . . just do it.
Hey, both of my girls are in the same room and we all sleep just fine! (Well, except for the teething disruptions.) Not that I'm trying to enable you or anything . . . Just sayin.
I hope you get some answers from your Dr. tomorrow. I'm with Melissa, I didn't realize after a tubal you still get a period. That sucks!!!
I get the same way around period time, buying large purchases seem to help the pain...until you get that bill. Can't the credit company just understand it was that time of the month and call us even?
Hey...a tubal makes your cycles screwy for a bit but usually they will go back to normal...my dr told me to give it 3 months/cycles before going on BCP, and she was right...by the 4th one, all was back to normal!
Hope you're feeling better and as far as a large purchase..don't get a puppy...too much work...you're a busy momma...you need LESS work, not more :-)
I had a tubal done as they were finishing up the c-section from my Sept 06 baby and my periods are still the devil! I haven't had cramps like this since I was 12. Unfortunately for me, the BCP messes up my blood pressure so I just have to deal.
Big purchases! Wo, girl you are mad at AF.
I have that bunk that you're describing and we love it....the older two sleep on the bottom together though. L always thinks he wants to go to the top by himself, but always moves on down w/ sister. It's pretty cute.
I wanna go with you and buy new sofa's. Call me girl. Maybe we should buy new cars as well. Mine's not old, but very messy and dirty on the inside....I think that's a good reason to get a new one.
Check out cyclediet.com and see what you think. I started it yesterday for my horrible PMDD. It is supposed to help with periods and horrible PMS.
Go buy something now! I am hating AF too, so I spent my lunch shopping. Guess what? I feel better.
Hope your grouch day improved, or you bought a new sofa, whatever works for you. (*cough*I'dtotallybuyasofa*cough*)
I completely understand your phone-aphobia. I do NOT use it. Ever. I get my husband to make the calls. I think in this 'internet age' more people are anti-phone than not, I'm starting to discover that. Which makes me normal and DH not, which also makes me happy ;)
Cheer up!
PUPPY!!! PUPPY!!! PUPPY!!!
I feel you! I am now on my THIRD period in 5 weeks. WTF!??
Girl give it time. Having a tubal keeps you from getting pregnant, but you aren't getting the hormones. I told someone today that it was like going thru the teenage period years all over again. Give it 3 months then if your bleeding is ok try something else for cramping (med ponstel) or mood probs (med sarafem). Just hang in there.
Love your blog! Just wanted to say your periods are screwy 'cuz you're no longer using hormone-based birth control. Just like any time someone goes off hormonal b/c, it can take a few months for your body to regulate. Keep in mind that most women have a big hormonal change at the same time they have a tubal (either by discontinuing b/c or by just having delivered a baby) but they tend to blame the crazy periods on the tubal when it's really the hormone fluctuation that causes the irregular periods. Give it a little time. And in the meantime, go make a purchase!
