BLM is going to be a kitty cat. Her costume has not yet arrived, but we have our kitty ears. We decided it would be a good time to practice our make up. I didn't do so hot. I need tips!
LLM is Minnie Mouse. I've decided to forget about the make up I found in the Halloween aisle, and just use liquid eyeliner on her for her whiskers.
I need to be pointed in the right direction for face-painting instructions. You know, that fancy stuff they do at Disney World!

you did a great job! Way better than anything I could do :) Maybe try more sideways shaped almond eyes?
Do the kitty nose as an upside down triangle. I'm sure you can find some pix on the web. Just print one out and have it next to you when you're doing it. That will help a lot!

Wow. After reading the rest of the tips, I suck.
I was going to suggest coloring BLM's nose pink in an upside down triangle and giving her about 3 whiskers on each side.
That's all I did when I was a cat back in 1994. :)

I have no clue or suggestions. But I wanted to say that they look so cute. And however the make-up turns out, I'm sure their costumes will look great!

I would just stick with little whiskers and big eyelashes. Put a little pink on her nose and lips. Maybe put some fake lashes on both the girls. Don't paint the face white.
My costume for Tess hasn't arrived either, I'm getting a little nervous!

Hubby went on youtube to figure out how to do the geisha makeup, and I went through a zillion pics on google images - I am not obsessive or anything!!!
she kinda looks more like a clown than a kitty cat. What about trying a black or pink nose and black around the eyes? Maybe do cat's eyes? She will be adorable anyway but those were some thoughts.
The LLM is totally precious as minnie mouse! I just want to eat her up!

I'm not sure if you bought halloween makeup yet, but the stuff at party city/iparty is usually pretty difficult to get looking right since it's so thin. You can get white makeup paint that gives you a much better base.

My children will be horribly jealous of yours. Mine will have horribly mangled make up, yours looks great! My kids can only dream...
