The Concierge Desk was busy tonight! The Head Concierge has had no moments to sit with quiet thoughts and ponder the meaning of life (or watch TV or surf the Internet).
The Guests were filled with requests tonight! The youngest is very vocal about her wishes and will not hesitate to call my superiors. The oldest is no less vocal, but a little more self sufficient.
A few things went well:
OK. Maybe nothing went well. Quite a few things were off:
*The location of evening activities was totally wrong. We should have been at Mimi's House.
*There was a cracker shortage. Substitutions on the snack menu are not ever appropriate.
*The wrong cup was almost used at meal time.
*Medication had to be dispensed. That is never well received.
*Bath time came too early.
*Bath time ended too early.
*Evening snack decisions were difficult to make. Did not want cereal, crackers, cheese puffs, Doritos, or Cheetos. One guest chose Cookie Crisp. The other one chose to chew a mouthful of Cookie Crisp and spit it on the bedding.
*Book choices were sorely lacking.
*Story time ended too early.
*Good Night Kisses had to be given to each animal. Twice.
*Room location was off. No provisions were made to accommodate sleeping in another guest's room or in the lobby. That one was actually the most anger-provoking occurrence of the evening.
*The wrong cup was given at bedtime. Crucial error. Had to be corrected. Yesterday.
Eventually, I just gave up and left that guest screaming in her room.
I will let you know how my Customer Service Survey turns out in the morning.

So I am guessing that taking the Cookie Crisp and sticking it down the pants of said guest would have been out of order?
Just asking...really. Truly.
Makes me wonder how any one human does it. You rock.
TP
I hope the guests do not have comment cards and crayons in their rooms.
I have often been left screaming in my room, however, my comments typically go unanswered.cr
I hate when the guests get out of hand! Time to evict them! :P
It must have been in the air yesterday.
Hopefully this evening will be better.
I couldn't stop laughing!! This was a CLASSIC blog post!! Applause!!!!
