Little O' Me inspired me to use my crock pot by her post about her new crock pot.
I'm making beans and cornbread for dinner tonight. I might even fry some okra. That's a big maybe, because I am not one to fry things. Or even cook things.
Daria is gone, but the bitch didn't even take my beer bloat with her. Oh well. I worked on my fitness this morning. Those pounds will go away eventually.
I must go get glossy for my day. I have a meeting at 8:30 with the legal department of our sister organization. My task is to help facilitate a meeting for them. I've been to plenty of strategic planning sessions, and I've been a part of many meetings that were facilitated by outside organizations. This is a test for me, and I'm going to fake it 'till I make it.
I know I got bonus points from my boss for accepting the task!

Mmm beans and cornbread. My granny and papaw used to make this on the fire when we went camping.
Now all you are missing is the fried taters.
