DL (that's Daddylicious) and I had our date night. We ate at a BBQ place. (BBQ is Not a Verb). Then we went to see Step Brothers. The first few moments were silly and funny. I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud. Then, it just kept on with the silly and stupid so now I've ended up with a movie that has muddled my mind. Not all of it was funny. Some of it was funny. Some of it was crass- that's fine with me. Don't take your toddlers.
However, the important thing is that we had a sweet date night and we even holded hands. We laughed and decided that the name "Loyl" should be outlawed. How do you say Loyal? Do you say: Lull? Loayal? Lol? Loy-al? This seems so wrong. Do you know anyone named Loyal?
How do they say it?
Big day today with travel for work. There may be a Burffet involved at the noon meal. I will let you know if it was a very reasonable way to eat out. The quantity of food will be unlimited- which is something you don't get in a regular sit down resturaunt.

Well, good for you guys for doing the date thing! It sounds excellent! (Even if the movie was less than stellar, which it sounds like it was.)
As far as the pronunciation goes on Loyal, the only one I knew ended up being "Lolly" because her brothers ended up calling her that when they were little kidlets.
And thank god the sleep aid worked!
TP
I can take a little funny, with some LOL's and giggles, but sometimes too much of it with very little sense makes the laugh feel forced. Thanks for the movie review.
Glad you and DL had yourself a lovely date! Those are special. I say LOY-UL.
When I went to see Stepbrothers, there were younger children, like age 10, in the theatre I don't get some parents!
Your family is so cute! And the blog name is great - had to check it out after seeing the it on Lipstick at the Mailbox!
Lets see here. In my head, I say it "loy-al" but from a bystander, they hear it "loyl."
i like it when they serve lamb because everybody doesn't serve lamb. it just seems like the main dish is always prime rib. i mean i've had prime rib up the kazoo.
I will have you know I just did a search in my "personal" email folder for the word BURFETT so I could get those words right.
I say Loy AL.
I may skip this movie.. since some of was crass.
Hope you are having a good mom o meter day... and what are LM's up to???
I don't think I am gonna see that movie. It just seems kind of dumb that they are so old and living at home with their parents and are having to adjust to being step brothers. It would have been better if it were teenagers I think.
Glad you had a good date night, I miss those! I miss working too!
Wonderful that you guys finally got to spend some time together, and even had a date night?!?!?! Love it!
You have an award waiting at my blog...
I do know someone named loyal--and I say loy-ul just like blanda amania. It is a funny thought though and made me laugh.
So glad you had a great night!! I guess we won't be taking the princess with us when we go see that movie. We thought about going today. LOL
I say LOY-al
So was there a burffet?? I enjoy burffets, I wouldn't say LOVE burffets. But it's a very reasonable way to eat out.
Did you know...where your face is, there's glass? And then you're handling everything underneath the glass with your hands.
Btw, the mr. and I are having a date night and we can't decide what to do. We're actually going away overnight, my mom is taking the kiddos! Woot!!
