Taa Daa. I'm the weiner.
Chandler has had strep throat since Tuesday. She was seemingly fine today. She took a nap for her babysitter. After nap, she wanted to go to the pool so I let them.
I get home at 5pm and she had a 101 fever and felt like ass.
I don't know how to stop abusing myself. I'm such an asshat. I hate making poor choices.

Do not beat yourself up over this HAULEE. BLM will be just fine!
Oh Mama...it will be O.K. Hell, after some Ibuprofen and snuggling and a movie or two, she'll probably want to go to the pool tomorrow.
Awww, your not a bad mom, LOLZ.
Haven't you been reading the confession thread, sheesh.
Cheer up or my be forced to send you that last xanax I have.
I can't stand it. I have to beat myself up. I feel like such a beast of a mother. I can't help it.
No need to beat yourself up. Sounds to me like there was no way to predict it. At least you're taking care of her now... that is a testament to what a good mommy you are. Even if you are a slacker most of the time. *wink*wink*
Hubby has had some awfull throat shit for 2 weeks, I finally got him to the doctor and now he is worse... so I will take the ass hat wife award if that helps ya?
Here's the plaque. I won last year, so they asked me to present this year's award. ;)
Don't worry about it. Kids are very resilient.
LOL, Lambs!
Awww, Haulee, don't beat yourself up. Your a super, duper terrific mommy. We all do stuff we wish we hadn't...
Does it make you feel any better to hear that I seriously love the blog? I just love it...
Go have a beer.
I think you are a pretty kick ass mom! We all do stuff like that...and I am perfect... hahah
I say you're not the horrible mom of the year, but I won that award 2 years ago when my Little Princess Monkeypants was sick (and I refused to take her to the ER at 2 am) with:
Strep
Pneumonia (spell?) -you know what I mean
and
Asthma
on top of that we had just started potty training & I was mad at her for being such a PITA.
We went to the doctor in the morning as soon as possible. We came home w/ a nebulizer and lots of Rx's.
Yeah I was "mom of the year" for 2006.
